Want to send our condolences. I remember visiting with Terry and mom, we would show up and go outside with all the kids to play. Very much enjoyed those times coming to visit. Sending thoughts and prayers to all the family. RIP Monte

Want to send mine and my family's heartfelt condolences to the coates family. The one thing I can remember the most is monte telling me and kurt when we were kids that if we eat enough mud sooner or later we will turn into clay. Those were the days when you just got out and played with your friends and family and had a good time. RIP. MONTE. LOVE YOU ALL!

Remembering my brother-in-law, Monte as this "wild & crazy" guy who enjoyed life to the fullest. So many things to remember through the 65 years of knowing him. I remember fondly the pizza shops he & Sandy owned for several years. Their pizzas were the BEST! I remember Monte taking my Uncle for an airplane ride "Wow" my Uncle loved it. So many good times I shared with Monte, my sister and their family. I send my condolences to Sandy, Jeff, Tom, Doug & Curt from Arizona. Wish I could be with you at this time. Your husband and Dad now has his heavenly wings. Sending you many hugs. Judy Jankowski

Monte was a bright and fascinating man who gave much to his community. Besides our visits at the Heartland McDonalds, I will remember him as a longtime Clay Township Trustee and Secretary of Hill Water Cooperative. He also served on the county property tax review board and in
many other activities.
I will remember and miss him.
