Obituary for Jake Ruble

Our beloved Jake Ruble passed away on Saturday, April 20. 2019. Jake was born on February 3, 1993 in Beech Grove to Jerry and Lorrie (Long) Ruble. Jake was a builder and said when he was little that he built homes in heaven. His love in life was his two daughters, Mattilyn and Rylee. Jake loved his husky dogs, Cash and June.
Jake was always a bit of a daredevil, loving fast and old cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed 4-wheelers and going to the country. He was very close to his dad and mom. He loved spending time in the country target practicing and hunting. Jake had several guitars and was a lover of music. Some of his favorites were Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley and Led Zeppelin.
In addition to his parents, Jerry and Lorrie Ruble, he is survived by his two daughters, Mattilyn "Matty" Elizabeth and Rylee June Ruble; a sister, Sarah Ann Ruble, who will truly miss him. He was her best friend. He is also survived by his grandparents, Larry Ruble, Larry Long, JoAnn Long, Melba Smith, great-grandmother, Anne Ruble. He has several uncles, Brad (Amy) Ruble, Rick Ruble and Neal Long. He has one aunt, Dawn Ruble. He also had several cousins, Ryan Ruble, Bryce Ruble, Charles Ruble, Larry Ruble, Heaven Ruble, Angie Ruble, Brittney Doty, Jason Darrough and Mika Long. He has several more cousins, too many to mention, that he loved dearly. He is preceded in death by a grandmother, Sherrill Ruble; great-grandfathers, Herbert Long and Alvin Ruble and one uncle, Larry Dean Ruble.

Jake will always be loved and remembered for his good heart and free spirit. I know all of his friends will miss him dearly. Rest easy.
